Human Cell Coat??!?

Recently in a lab, across the world! A tiny mouse size coat was made from living human cells, well once alive, now dead. But, you get the point. In this lab, they are attempting to make what they call, victimless leather. Basically, leather that has come from not killing any animal.

This tiny coat was made to fit a mouse, by using a polymer matrix, that was coated with immortal human cells, that grew around the matrix. This living, yes LIVING, coat they say has limiteless possiblity. However, they call it “art”, an experiment to see how human cells really interact with other living organisms. “…. By de-constructing our cultural meaning of clothes as a second skin through art, we raise questions about our exploitation of other living beings.” Wearing your own skin, as well, another skin a second skin, it makes up think about how we use other living animals to benefit ourselfs and makes us think about how we use them.

Deepest Sea Fish Caught on Film!

Recently, in one of the worlds deepest ocean trenches, scientists have found a highly social group of fish. They are living roughly five miles below the surface of the Pacific Ocean.
This is the first time cameras have been put to the task of going this far down. The snail fish, is the worlds deepest living fish, living exclusively at the bottom of the see floor. The fish that were caught on tape, were huddled around another dead fish, eating the thousands of crap like creatures that feed off dead fish.
These fish have to do deal with some of the harshest of habitats; such as completely darkness or the thousands of pounds of pressure. In the article they showed a video of the fish explaining the whole thing, and the amount of pressure these fish have to deal with, fromt he weight of the water on top of them, is equavilant to 1600 elephants standing on a car. On top of all that, its also near freezing temperatures.
The cameras and equipment used to film this expedition were made specificly for this purpose. That is to go five miles below sea level :P

How Safe is Safe??

Yesterday, Monday October sixth, a man testified against five men. Claiming that they forced him and his friend to preform sexual actions, under threats of death.
The two men themselves have stayed anonymous. However, the five teenage boys they testified have been identified as Fedrick Cadell Jr, Pierre Jacques Guidry, Mark Anthony Echemendia, Reid Rogers, Bryan Stanley. The first three men are being brought up on charges for sex crimes, in addition robbery, assault, and kidnapping. The last two (Rogers and Stanley) are on similar charges, with the exception of sex crimes.
On top of kidnapping and sexual assaulting two men, Bryan Stanley also threatened to kill if this man if he did not withdraw 260 dollars out of an ATM for him. After doing so, they walked back to the park where his friend was being captive, and he noticed he had blood all over him. He had clearly been beaten by the other four men. He states, "I saw brass knuckles and knifes, three."
I don't know about you, but it seems as if the world is getting more and more violent. Everyday, we hear more and more about killings and the war, violence and death. It needs to come to an end, in my opinion.... All i have to say on that subject.
